Cody Marschner
Water Resource Engineer and Lead UAV Pilot
Cody has 6 years of experience managing and working a variety of fisheries and river engineering projects. He has worked with many federal and municipal clients throughout the Northwest, serving as the project manager, remote sensing specialist, surveyor, and construction manager on the design and construction of large fish habitat, river restoration, bank stabilization, and heavy civil projects with construction budgets ranging from $100K to $5 million.
As an integral part of his responsibilities, Cody has led coordination activities and management efforts with a variety of federal, state, and local regulators. He has experience working in the field as a construction manager and surveyor, but also as an engineer assisting with design and project management. He works exceptionally well with construction contractors, engineers, and scientists.
An avid outdoorsmen and sportsmen, he finds himself at home around ranchers, irrigators, and landowners due to his competency and passion for the outdoors. Cody spent 4 years as the Boise State Backcountry Hunters and Anglers President, teaching and mentoring new generations about wildlife and habitat conservation.
He also has experience in design, UAS remote sensing, GIS/surveying, technical specifications, permitting requirements, and construction management in waters with ESA-protected fish. Cody’s ability to work in a multitude of environments and as the frontline of communication with a variety of stakeholders in complex situations has resulted in successful, cost-effective solutions for his clients.
